New Books in German
Published twice a year to coincide with the London and Frankfurt Bookfairs, and aimed chiefly at British and American editors who would like to publish more translations but would appreciate independent help in finding the right title from among the thousands published each year in the German language.
Financial contributors include the Foreign Ministries of Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, Pro Helvetia, and The Goethe-Institut InterNationes.
New Spanish Books
An online guide of Spanish titles with available rights for translation, funded by the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) and the Spanish Publishers’ Association.New Spanish Books is an invaluable resources for publishers, translators and readers who want to stay well-informed about Spanish contemporary writiing. Includes information about rights and translation grants as well as independent reviews of the titles chosen by a UK panel of experts
BCLT is represented on the New Spanish Books review panel by BCLT Advisory Panel member, Gary McKeone.
