Summer School
Summer School 2010
18 - 24 July 2010
University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK

More than 60 students registered for this year’s BCLT Summer School, taking part in an intensive week of literary translation workshops, round tables, seminars and readings.
Participants worked in small groups under the guidance of a workshop leader and a writer-in-residence. A Japanese-English workshop was offered for the first time, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Nippon Foundation. The Summer School also offered the opportunity to translate into English from French, German, or Spanish and from English into Italian..
