Advanced Translation Workshop:

Eligibility & Costs

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Korean-English Advanced Workshop you must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  1. You have published or have forthcoming at least one book-length translation from Korean to English.

    AND/OR

  2. You have published or have forthcoming four translations or more in a journal/magazine.

    AND/OR

  3. You are a graduate of the BCLT summer school Korean workshop.

Costs

All selected translators will receive a full bursary to attend (worth £200). This workshop is made possible by the support of LTI Korea, National Centre for Writing, Arts Council England and British Centre for Literary Translation, University of East Anglia.
